"Hiring 2 Friends Events to be my day of coordinator was the best wedding decision I made. From the moment I first met with Nichole, I knew I would be in good hands! She was knowledgeable about all things wedding, and she is super personable and fun as well. And although I only hired 2 Friends Events for day of coordination, Nichole and Lindsay said they were available any time if I needed them for random wedding questions. When I handed off all of the wedding details and items to them before the wedding, I felt the biggest weight off my shoulders! Knowing they were handling the entire day made me totally at ease on my wedding day. I didn't have to worry about one thing - they handled it all. I just enjoyed the entire event, it flew by, and I know it was because I didn't once have to worry about the logistics of the event. "I hired 2 friends events as day of coordinators for my wedding. In short, they were amazing to work with from day 1. From working with my other vendors to create a well planned, efficient timeline to directing our rehearsal to managing the overall day of our wedding to ensure every detail was as we had requested, everything came out as expected and quite frankly exceeded our expectations. There is one situation in particular that showed how prepared they were. We took pictures right after the ceremony and needless to say, it was chaotic. We wanted certain family members to be in pictures but in the hectic scene of the day, we weren't following the planned photo schedule established. Nichole saw this and quickly took control of the situation, with the photo shoot schedule in hand and we got our shots done within 10-15 minutes.

It's that kind of direction that makes events run as smoothly as possible and I am very grateful they were there to keep us on track while my husband and I and our entire cast of family and friends could simply relax and enjoy the festivities.

"My husband and I got married in the SF Zoo this past May, and many commented that it was one of the best-run weddings ever. This is in no small part to our two day-of wedding planners. We met up with them months before the wedding, and they gave us a checklist/timeline of things we needed to consider and organize. To help us out, they had suggestions and recommendations of items and vendors, but they were totally flexible. 

As the big day drew nearer, they toured the wedding and reception venues with us, offering pointers and assembling a timeline for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. We gave them the contact information for all the working parties (officiant, SF Zoo coordinator, florist, DJ, photographers, and even our military saber arch!) and they were able to organize everyone into one coherent effort of getting the wedding setup and moving. 

Throughout the reception, our planners would find us and let us know when certain events would be happening (ex: in ten minutes we’ll do the garter toss), and they coordinated with our DJ so that he could time the music and make the appropriate announcements. When it was finished, they helped us tear down and pack everything up, even driving some of our leftover cake to our hotel room nearby! 

Overall, we are thrilled we hired our day-of planners. The wedding went off exactly on time and finished exactly when we planned on it winding down. Additionally, there were no foul-ups and there was no confusion between ourselves, our guests, or any of our vendors, and this was owed almost entirely to them."

I wanted to write and say thank you so much for being such a phenomenal coordinator for us- both for everything leading up to our big day, as well as everything you and Nicole did on our wedding day. Everything looked amazing and was even better than I imagined! We had so many compliments from our guests about how Lucie Stern looked gorgeous, the food and servers were great, the flowers and other decorations looked beautiful and the overall party was so fun! I would love to recommend you to anyone I know who is planning an event.
